The "Cloud" series from Gibson was a chambered reissue series of guitars - indicated by the guitar's serial number beginning with "CR". This series was made for Music Machine, Dave's Guitar Shop & Wildwood Guitars from 2003-2006.
This particular model is a take on Jeff Beck's conversion Les Paul, seen famously on the Blow By Blow album cover. Beck's guitar was a 1954 Gibson Les Paul that was once refinished from factory gold to a dark chocolate brown - customarily known in the guitar world as "Oxblood". The design made famous by Beck has been recreated and in demand ever since.
