The FSX3 is crafted from a Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides, an all-solid construction that delivers a brighter but balanced, and, despite the body size, huge, projecting tone that is perfect for all acoustic applications. A scalloped bracing inside the body is implemented to increase projection and sculpt the sonic quality even further, resulting in a musical, premium sounding instrument.
An African mahogany neck is appointed for smooth movement up and down the 25" scale length, and the ebony fingerboard pronounces the mid-range for articulate attacks. Adorned with dot inlays across the twenty frets, players will find no trouble fingering chords, leads, and anything in between.
Amplifying the FSX3 is an Atmosfeel electronics system consisting of a pickup and preamp housed inside the body. This system is then controlled by master volume, mic blend, and bass EQ knobs found on the bass side of the guitar in perfect, but not intrusive, accessible placement. This system translates the acoustic tones effortlessly to a live scenario, letting players produce the rich, warm sounds they love without cumbersome mic placements and limited mobility.
