This Martin D-28 features a Sitka spruce top with very wide and straight grain. The rosewood back and sides have light to dark stripes with a little bit of ripple in the grain towards the lower bottom. The mahogany neck profile is a slim taper with not a lot of shoulder but allows the player to wrap their thumb around the neck very easily. Martin's thin line Gold Plus pickup captures the resonance and depth that this D-28 has to offer acoustically. There is no volume or tone option with this pickup system and any extra tone shaping must be done at the board or by pedal.

This Martin D-28 is in very good condition. It shows very light scratches across the body. The sound hole shows signs of pick attack on the lower side. The neck binding has some dings/dents near the 9th fret on the bass side. The bridge has been re-glued by our in-house technicians.
