The Gene Krupa Sound King. Serial number 58820. This 1960’s chrome over brass signature snare fulfills the desire of distinguished drummers. 

It as an extra sturdy solid brass shell with triple chrome plating. It has a Zoomatic strainer. The Zoomatic version was branded the Gene Krupa Sound King Chrome until the mid 70's. Then it just became the Gene Krupa Sound King. 

The Gene Krupa Sound King Chrome is a severely undervalued snare.

This snare is from the 60's. Excellent sounding drum. Chrome shines!
