Constructed from alder into the iconic "S-Style" shape, the Silver Sky boasts a timeless silhouette. Its maple neck, secured with four-bolt construction, features the PRS 635JM neck shape and a maple fingerboard, meticulously tested by Mayer himself for exceptional playability. The fingerboard hosts a 7.25” radius, 22 frets adorned with PRS's distinctive Small Bird inlays, and a total scale length of 25.5".
At the heart of the Silver Sky are the 635JM single-coil pickups, defining its unique sonic character. These pickups deliver rich, full tones with a musical high end devoid of harshness. Coupled with a 5-way blade pickup switch and one volume, two tone controls, the guitar offers a versatile tonal palette. The PRS Steel Tremolo, featuring Gen III knife-edge screws, ensures precise pitch modulation.
