Gretsch LTD G2655TG Streamliner Center Block Jr. Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar, Vintage White
Feast your eyes on the Gretsch Limited Edition G2655TG Streamliner Center Block Jr. Taking inspiration from the past, this semi-hollow balances vintage-style appointments with modern craftsmanship for a versatile archtop that sounds as good as it looks.
Comfort is at the forefront of the G2655T's design, with a smaller double-cutaway arched body, the guitar sits comfortably on the lap and offers easy access to the upper register. For its tonal profile, the maple is constructed of maple and features a chambered center block for increased sustain and to counter unwanted feedback when things get loud. The body is finished in a gloss vintage white that pairs elegantly against the gold hardware.
Attached by a set-neck design, a nato neck is glued to the body and meets the body at the 20th fret. A soft "C" neck profile offers ease of play and is paired with a 12-inch laurel fingerboard. The fingerboard is topped with large pearloid big block inlays and is crowned with 22 medium jumbo frets.
Two Broad'Tron BT-3S humbucking pickups are loaded into the neck and bridge positions to amplify the guitars voice. The pickups utilize a combination of Alnico 5 and 2 magnets for a strong mid-range, full and tight lows, and a smooth top end. Thanks to the master volume push/pull control, both pickups can be coil-spilt for single-coil tones, adding more sounds to its sonic footprint. Volume controls feature the G-Arrow logo on the knobs for extra flair. The inclusion of the Bigsby B50 tailpiece offers expressive control over vibrato.
Built for comfort, performance, and most importantly style, this Limited Edition G2665TG would be a welcomed addition in any player's collection.
