Description
This Partscaster has been assembled originally in Decatur, GA in the style of a Fender La Cabronita style instrument. The neck is from a Mexican Fender Telecaster, while the heavy ash reverse Jazzmaster body comes from Warmoth Custom Guitars & Bass. The original builder dubbed it "Boracha" which translates loosely to "lil' drunken bastard". A single TV Jones pickup in the bridge, single volume control, and hardtail bridge provide the bare essentials for playing. The nitro finish is thin and the grain of the ash shows through clearly, and yields no visible blemishes. The neck is "C" shaped, and plays comfortably. The heavy ash body puts the guitar at 10lb 3oz and is perfect for someone wanting Les Paul style functionality and tone from an offset Fender style instrument. Dunlop strap locks were installed at Russo Music after the original owner sold the piece.
