This 1997 Stratocaster is number 1696 of 2000 from Fenders Collectors Choice series. It features an Alder body with wide striping. The neck profile is a fairly slim "C" shape that sits in the palm very easily and allows the player to slide down the fingerboard with little to no effort. The rosewood fingerboard has nice tight grain with a lot of red striping. The Fender gold hardware is clean/bright to no signs of rust and wear.
