1982 Fender AVRI '52 Telecaster, Butterscotch Blonde, Fullerton w/OHSC - Used

1982 Fender AVRI '52 Telecaster, Butterscotch Blonde, Fullerton w/OHSC - Used

This 1982 Fender AVRI '52 Telecaster Fullerton is part of Fenders first attempts at re-creating their golden era models from the 1950s. It has a beautiful Butterscotch Ash body with narrow and tight checking with dings and dents across. The lower bout of the body shows signs of the finish worn down to the wood.

The neck profile is a very skinny "C" shape. From the 1st thru the 5th fret the neck shows signs of dings and dents with play wear down to the wood. The frets are on the lower side but still have a good amount of life left. The maple fingerboard shows signs of checking with some slight finish wear around the 2nd & 3rd frets.

The ash tray bridge has lots of patina with some pitting on the side. The barrel saddles are in good shape with some discoloration. Fenders tweed case has held up in the last 40 years with fully functional latches with the interior showing light use.

The neck is stamped 05-21-82 while the neck pocket is stamped 08-03-82. The COA shows that the guitar officially born on 08-30-1982.
