Epiphone J-45 Standard Acoustic-Electric Guitar, Rosewood Fingerboard, Vintage Sunburst
Refined and upgraded, the Epiphone J-45 Standard returns to the Inspired by Gibson Collection with all solid tonewood construction. Since its debut in 1942, the J-45 has remained the best-selling acoustic in Gibson's offerings. That legacy is celebrated with this new addition to the Epiphone lineup.
The sloped shoulder dreadnought is crafted from a solid mahogany back/sides and is paired with a spruce top for its signature balanced voice. The body features double-bound white binding to accent the vintage sunburst finish. Glued into the body in a traditional set-neck design, a 1-piece mahogany neck offers a vintage inspired playing experience with its rounded "C" profile. The neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard, white mother of pearl dot inlays, and 20 frets. Inside the body, a Fishman S-Core under saddle electronics system is installed for amplifying sound. Easy adjustments to its output can be made with its soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls.
Strings are loaded into the rosewood bridge and are locked in place with the white bridge pins. A bone saddle and nut provide great support for the J-45's intonation and stability. Grover Rotomatic tuners are located on the '60s Epiphone Kalamazoo headstock to string the instrument to pitch.
Complete with a premium gig bag, this J-45 Standard is and will always be ready to inspired.
