Epiphone EJ-200SCE Solid Top Acoustic-Electric Guitar- Vintage Natural

Epiphone EJ-200SCE Solid Top Acoustic-Electric Guitar- Vintage Natural

Constructed with a solid spruce top and maple back and sides, the Gibson-inspired Epiphone EJ-200SCE acoustic guitar fills in as a budget-friendly iteration of the iconic Gibson J-200. Colloquially known as "the king of the flat tops," the Gibson SJ200 first made its debut in 1937 and has since been reproduced by guitar manufacturers worldwide.

This instrument offers a rich and unmistakable full jumbo sound and is easily navigated with its SlimTaper D-shaped maple neck. Further enriched with a deep neck cutaway, the Epiphone EJ-200SCE features a Pau Ferro fingerboard knighted with pearloid "crown" style inlays, truly befitting its royal moniker. Its antique white binding and decorative backstrip inlay are just cherries on top.

The Epiphone EJ-200SCE acoustic also sports a uniquely shaped mustache-style bridge, an imitation tortoise pickguard with the unmistakable J-200 graphic on it, and gold finished Grover Rotomatic tuning machines, with 18:1 ratio.

While Super Jumbo guitars were initially designed to cut through the clamor of the loudest acoustic ensembles while unplugged, this newer spin comes loaded with a Fishman Sonicore under saddle preamp, equipped with volume control, phase and contour switches, and a built-in tuner with an LED display. While this guitar may not be an original, it retains the same bite and projection that deemed its distant relative such a formidable instrument.

  • Iconic Gibson SJ-200 style, with cutaway
  • Undersaddle Fishman pickup system with built-in tuner for amplification
  • SlimTaper neck, Pau Ferro fingerboard with crown style inlays
  • Solid spruce top, select maple body for an evenly balanced but punchy tone
  • Grover Rotomatic gold finished tuning machines
