The original Big Muff Pi 2 circuit, designed in collaboration with JHS Pedals, came from a long-lost schematic from the 1970s that never saw the light of day. Two dual op-amps entered the fray in the EHX Big Muff Pi 2 with a bright and biting fuzz voice that played reverently to previous Big Muffs but with that extra sizzle for flavor.
This Big Muff Pi 2 Tone Wicker balances classic Big Muff Tone Wicker design and all-new Big Muff Pi 2 flavor. The design's two dual op-amps light the fire for the top-end grind, bright bite, and enveloping distortion that have become beloved so quickly. From here, the Tone Wicker Big Muff 2 introduces two switches for even deeper tonal mixing.
