Caroline Guitar Company x Russo Music Limited Edition Tomato Pie Fuzz Effect Pedal
After sixty-five years as a family-owned, central 'Jersey company, you eventually realize you are what you eat, so you might as well make it good. With this, we have the Caroline Guitar Company x Russo Music Tomato Pie Fuzz. This custom pedal comes at the heels of Russo Music's sixty-fifth anniversary as a company and like any delicacy dish, is a labor of love.
The Caroline Guitar Company Hawaiian Pizza is one of the modern effect world's favorite fuzzes. For our sixty-fifth anniversary, we tapped Philippe and the crew over at Caroline to alter the Hawaiian Pizza to produce the effect you see before you today, the Tomato Pie. The Tomato Pie is the result of a creative collaboration between Caroline Guitar Company and Russo Music to design a new fuzz effect inside and out. This pedal, centering its design around NJ Semiconductor's BC109C transistors that differ from the traditional Hawaiian Pizza's, brings out an all-new flavor of fuzzstortion for the ravenous fuzz fanatics of the world.
The Tomato Pie is a new, exclusive fuzz design straight from Caroline themselves. With this pedal, we're celebrating sixty-five years with the top-end grind of a Fuzz Face, the searing sustain of a Tone Bender, and the fiery effervescence of a Big Muff all in one. The Tomato Pie's base distorted character differs from the Hawaiian Pizza as it runs a vast spectrum of a crispy overdrive to a blown-out fuzz with so many captivating sweet spots along the way. In short, there's so many fuzzy flavors to dish out with the Tomato Pie, so it's certainly a pedal not to be missed.
For a fiftieth anniversary, you get gold. For a fifty-fifth, emerald. For a sixtieth anniversary, you can expect diamond. A lesser known, yet no less impactful tradition, is the sixty-fifth tomato pie pizza. Join in on a distorted delicacy decades in the making with us, Caroline, and the Tomato Pie!
