The Music Man Stingray Special bass guitar has earned a prestigious reputation among bassists since its inception in 1976, known for its robust construction, powerful tone, and iconic design.

This Stingray Special Bass represents a contemporary evolution of this classic model, integrating modern features and materials to meet the demands of today's musicians. With a body cut from select hardwood, the silhouette of this Stingray remains largely the same as the original design, featuring two deep cutaways, and a belly contour for superior comfort. 

Attached with a secure four-bolt plate, the neck of this Stingray Special Bass is carved from roasted maple, undergoing a heat treatment that removes impurities from the wood and ensures a more stable neck. On the neck, a fingerboard made of rosewood features an 11 inch radius, 22 frets, and dot inlays, all in classic Stingray Special fashion.

Coming equipped with a custom Music Man neodymium humbucking pickup that delivers a powerful and articulate sound with ample low-end and clarity, the tone synonymous with Stingray basses can be expected from this model as much as any of the originals. Its electronics system includes a versatile 3-band active EQ and a single volume control.

This iconic bass is finished in a captivating Hot Honey gloss polyester and comes complete with a hardshell case.
