This Martin Custom Shop from the 2017 Summer NAMM show is themed with Art Deco design in mind. Limited to 30 pieces, this SS-00L Art Deco is #29 out 30 and is hand signed by C.F. Martin IV on the custom inside label.
The guitar features custom purfling and inlays designed in collaboration with master luthier Bruce Petros which is comprised of laser cut flamed maple.
A straight grained piece of Adironack Spruce was chosen for the top, finished in with antique toner. The back and sides are comprised of Guatemalan Rosewood which is known to be slightly lighter and less dense than Brazilian Rosewood. This bookmatch has a unique grain pattern paired with a deep and rich color to it. The genuine mahogany neck has a modified V shape which fits comfortably in the hand. In addition, the guitar is bound in highly flamed maple.
