Martin 2018 Custom Shop M14 Sinker Mahogany Back And Sides/Adirondack Spruce Top With OHSC - Used
In the spring of 2018, Russo Music worked with the Martin Custom Shop to design six acoustic instruments from the ground up. The M-14 body style can be best described as having the length of a dreadnought with the depth of a 000. This particular Martin M-14 features an Adirondack Spruce top, Sinker Mahogany back and sides, and Madagascar Rosewood body binding. The Sinker Mahogany used for this guitar comes from a sourced batch having aged 200 years underwater in the tropical climate of Belize.
Since originally being purchased in 2018, this guitar has come back home and is ready to move on to the next player. An LR Baggs Anthem has been installed by our expert luthiers in 2019.
The guitar sounds loud and full with plenty of chime and clarity. There are some minor scratches and play wear throughout the guitar. The only noticeable dings are at the bottom of the top where it was bookmatched and on the lower bottom of the back.
