The Ampeg VT-40 is a powerful and striking 40 watt amplifier that deliveries Fender like cleans and Marshall like break up. This model is one of the earlier VT-40 amps that features the top loaded control panel. The polarity switch has been swapped out for a Master Volume mod labeled "Attenuator". The Speaker configuration is 2x10" JBL Speakers and 2x10" CTS Speakers. This amp features Sylvania and GE Tubes. It comes with its original footswitch.
This Ampeg is in very good condition. It shows very light wear. There are a few scratches on the control panel and Tolex.
