This Gibson 1959 ES-355 Reissue was crafted in the Gibson Murphy Lab in 2022 in Nashville, TN. The 355 is constructed from a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body with a solid maple center block, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard. Electronics are loaded with 2 Gibson Custombuckers for vintage PAF tone. Control set features a 3-way toggle switch with 2 volume and 2 tone knobs per pickup.
The guitar comes to us from the original owner who took great care of it. It is part of Gibson's Murphy Lab collection and features a light age relic over Watermelon Red. Finish checking and flakes can be seen all over the guitars body, neck, and head stock. The binding is aged to a beautiful yellow/cream color. Original Gibson hard-shell case, COA, and candy included.
